English Tea Biscuits



Ingredients I Used:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ cup butter (soft)

  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • A few drops of vanilla essence


How I Made It:

  1. First, I mixed butter and sugar in a bowl until it became creamy.

  2. Then I added the egg and vanilla and mixed again.

  3. After that, I added flour and baking powder, and mixed it slowly with my hands.

  4. I rolled the dough and cut it into small round shapes.

  5. I baked them for about 12–15 minutes at 180°C until they turned light golden.

  6. When I took them out, my kitchen smelled so good!

Now they are ready — I enjoyed them with hot tea. Simple and tasty ☕🍪
